Our research group is interested in unraveling the mechanisms of gene regulation at the level of transcription. Combining mathematical models with high-throughput experimental data we study how the genes are regulated in the cell. In particular, I am involved in a project on modeling of the binding processes of transcription factors and nucleosomes. I was involved in the development of a mathematical model of physical processes in porous media. Responsibilities: * Assistance in development of the mathematical model using flow plasticity theory * Numerical calculations and development of VBA and MatLab scripts

Gene Networks Ltd. is a spin-off company of the Laboratory of Theoretical Genetics of the Institute of Cytology and Genetics SB RAS. Responsibilities: * Assistance in development of a business plan and a promotion strategy for an innovative product for a start-up company * Assistance in writing of scientific grant reports

The scientific interests of the laboratory are in the area of Systems Biology and Bioinformatics. In particular, our group is interested in modeling of the dynamics of metabolic networks. Responsibilities: * Mathematical modeling of morphogenesis of the Arabidopsis Thaliana embryo * Development of methods for the reverse engineering of gene networks
