Main responsibilities: Translation of technical and commercial documentation in development and production of oil fields, oral (simultaneous and consecutive) interpretation of meetings, discussions, negotiations etc. Types of documents translated: establishment documentation, contracts, terms of reference, drawings (AutoCAD), specifications, design documentation, presentations (Powerpoint), schedules (PrimaVera, Microsoft Project) etc. Responsible for implementation of Translation Memory systems (SDL Trados) and machine translation (Promt Professional) in company.

Written translation and oral interpretation, based on services contract, for various administrative and business organizations in Russia and abroad (Council of Federation of RF, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Administration of Irkutsk region, World Bank, EBRD, various production companies in areas of: non-ferrous metallurgy, wood logging, machinery building. Types of oral interpretation: commercial negotiations, conferences, TV coverage (simultaneous and consecutive) etc. Written translation: design and estimate documentation, commercial offers, contracts, specifications, audit statements – total scope of written translation over the given period amounted to approx. 15 000 pages). Extensive connections among translators community, in relevant higher education facilities and state authorities.

Single translator at the enterprise (5000 employed). Main responsibilities: translation of technical and commercial documentation in aluminum and silicon smelting, powder metallurgy and casting technologies, oral (consecutive and simultaneous) interpretation of discussions, technical meetings, negotiations. Participation in joint project of OAO “IrkAZ-SUAL” and Brochot, SA (France) on design and supply of equipment for Anode Rodding Shop – scheduled meetings of representatives of OAO “SibVAMI” (design house) and Brochot, SA (2 meetings, 4 days ea., per month). Fully responsible for preparation of bilingual contractual and technical documentation of the project (contract, appendixes, equipment specs – total of approx. 1000 pages). Similar participation in project of Pot Tending Machines design and supply from ECL (France). Types of documents translated: contracts, technical specifications, technical and commercial tender bids, scientific and practical articles on aluminum production and casting technologies (Light Metals 2004-2005). Compiled terms reference lists on production process.

Main responsibilities: development and implementation of training programs: “Practical course of English translation”, “Practical course of English translation as second foreign language”, “Special translation: Economics and Finance”. Evening in-service training course for translators: “International conference interpretation”, “Practical course of English translation”. Counseling for course and graduation papers. Counseling for professional training of students. Participated in scientific work of the department and Science Council of the university.
